We have a lot to be thankful for and thanks to your –our state wide Cox Cable viewers and our Sponsors– this show that debuted on August 23, 2017 has grown from a twice-a-month show to going weekly this past October.

Including the show you are watching now this is our 40th Oklahoma Sportscene show and for that we also want to thank our great lineup of incredible guests from our very first show that featured University of Tulsa Director of Athletics, Dr. Derrick Gragg. We featured Oklahoma State’s new Head Basketball Coach Mike Boynton and the Cowboys Athletic Director, Mike Holder, champion wrestling coach John Smith and former OSU Head Football Coach Pat Jones.

OU’s guest list has included Legendary Coach Barry Switzer; Sooner Heisman trophy winner Billy Sims, All American running back Joe Washington and Athletic Director Joe Castiglione along with OU’s championship men’s and women’s gymnastics coaches.

NFL Hall of Famer and former TU All-American, Steve Largent. Hall of Fame basketball coaches OU’s Billy Tubbs and the Kansas Jayhawks Ted Owens have been featured.

We’ve hosted TU Head Football Coach Philip Montgomery and Oral Roberts University’s men’s and women’s Head Basketball Coaches and championship baseball coach. Featured top High School coaches and our state’s professional teams the Drillers, Oilers and Roughnecks.

Oklahoma Sportscene, with the help of Henry Primeaux Mitsubishi and the Tulsa World, has recognized the top High School Player and Coach of the Month in the state and thanks to our partner Remington Park we featured both quarter horse and thoroughbred racing action at the Oklahoma City track.
