Coach Cloud and I, and many of you ”veteran football fans”, remember
when we could only get one or two college football games on a Saturday on TV
and the same for pro football games on Sunday.

Well, get ready for the 2019 College Football season starting with, are you
ready for this, 55 games are scheduled from Aug. 24 th thru Sept. 2 ND and most of
them will be televised.

It begins with two games on Saturday, August 24 th with Miami @ Florida
at 6pm on ESPN followed by Arizona @ Hawaii and runs thru Monday night,
September 2 nd when Notre Dame plays at Louisville.

The night before on Sunday, September 1 st the Sooners have the national
stage with a nationally televised game on ABC. The only college football game
on Sunday night as they host Houston at 6:30pm.

Some other numbers heading into this season — 27 teams have changed
coaches since 2018 with 13 head coaches making their FBS debuts.
The Big 12 features four new head coaches at Kansas, Kansas State,
Texas Tech and West Virginia.

College Football’s 150 th season is almost here! Finally!
