Our Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame has just announced its 2020 class of seven
inductees.

Tommy Chesbro*: Legendary Wrestling Coach at Oklahoma State University. In 15 years his
Cowboy wrestlers won 90% of their dual matches and he coached 20 NCAA champions.

Sherri Coale: OU’s Womens Basketball coach since 1996 with over 500 career victories – 6
Big 12 championships – 19 straight NCAA tournaments – 2 Final Fours.

Eddie Griffin: Current Athletic Director at Central Oklahoma. Was a member of two Oklahoma
State National Champion Wrestling teams and former head wrestling coach at Central
Oklahoma and Clemson.

Stacey King: OU basketball All-American. Was 1989 Big 8 Player-of-the-Year –Played 11
seasons in the NBA – 3-time NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls from 1991-93.

Hubert F. “Hub” Reed: 6-9 Basketball center at Oklahoma City University from 1955-58 then
played 8 seasons in the NBA.

James David “Buddy” Ryan*: 35 year NFL coaching career. Two-Time Super Bowl
Champion was a 4-year letterman on the offensive line at Oklahoma A&M.

Lee Allan Smith: Contributor, University of Oklahoma Alumnus. Great Civic Leader inducted
into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 1994.

They will be inducted on August 3rd at the River Wind Casino in Norman.
